In the course of our research on the history of the U.S. development of nuclear weapons, we have continually "bumped heads" with those who would use U.S. classification policies and procedures to keep information and knowledge of what the U.S. government and its agencies have done from the people of the United States.
This part of our WEB site centers on that problem. It consists of the following parts:
1. A discussion / editorial on U.S. Classfication policies written by Chuck Hansen
2. An article from May-June, 1999 issue of The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, The End of Openness?
